Fatal Accident Alert

Marshall, MS (May 18, 2024) – A high-speed chase ended tragically on Saturday, May 18. Officials say two individuals died when a car fleeing police collided with another vehicle. The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on S Red Banks Rd near Marianna Rd. Marshall County fire and rescue teams used extraction tools to free trapped passengers. Rosie Jeffries, 71, died at the scene. Curtis Jeffries, 76, passed away in the hospital. The fleeing driver is now in critical condition. The investigation into the crash continues.
