How often does the Gatlinburg trolley pick up? ›

Trolleys depart about every 45 minutes during route hours from the South end of the Park 'N Ride lot. The route runs through the Gatlinburg entrance, along the Parkway, South on River Road, on to the Parkway and downtown, and back to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. Stops include: North Parkway.

There are no fares or fees to ride the Gatlinburg Trolleys.

Visitors in the area can board a Trolley at any stop in the City and be off to their destination. All Trolleys stop at the Mass Transit Center, located at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.

Once you get to Pigeon Forge, you can relax and leave the driving to us. Pigeon Forge Mass Transit trolleys travel to more than 200 official stops in Pigeon Forge, as well as select locations in Gatlinburg and Sevierville.

Pigeon Forge Trolley Fares

Individual fares will be paid every time you board a trolley. To save the most money, we recommend purchasing an all-day trolley pass for only $3! All other routes are only $1, which the exception of Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country, which are $2.50.

The busiest week in Gatlinburg typically falls during the first week of July, which coincides with Independence Day celebrations. The off-season months from November through February or late August through September.

The only way to access the top of the mountain (where the Gatlinburg SkyBridge is located) is to buy an admission ticket at the SkyPark ticket window and then ride the yellow SkyLift chair to the top of the mountain.

The Pigeon Forge trolley system has a fleet of over 40 vehicles, so there is never a trolley too far away! The trolleys operate daily from 8 a.m. to midnight from March through October, and daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in November and December.

Arrive Early or Stay Late

Plan to start your day's adventures shortly after sunrise, when roads are less congested, and parking spaces are more abundant. Alternatively, consider exploring Gatlinburg's attractions in the evening when traffic begins to taper off as visitors return to their accommodations for the night.

The Tram departs every 20 minutes traveling at speed of 17 mph with a distance of 2.1 miles. Total trip time from the downtown station to the mountain top is about 10 minutes.

The Sea Pines Beach Club Trolley runs approximately every 20 minutes between Harbour Town and the Sea Pines Beach Club with stops along the way at Harbour Town Golf Links, Shops at Sea Pines Center, Plantation Club Villas and the Plantation Club.
