It’s good. My blender had a hard time with all the frozen foods but it worked pretty well due to my blender I had to use more milk and used a little sugar to sweeten it more. Overall it’s amazing I’ll make it again

An enzyme in bananas makes flavanols less bioavailable when it's combined with berries. Researchers say bananas are still a great fruit to be eaten on the side, or added to smoothies that don't have flavanol-rich ingredients such as berries, grapes and cocoa.
But, there is a common mistake that people make when preparing their smoothie of choice. The new study found that smoothies combining bananas with berries proved to decrease in flavanols (a key nutrient in berries) after being blended together. Considering the health benefits of flavanols, this presents a problem.
Each serving contains about 110 calories, 0 g fat, 0 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat, <5 mg cholesterol, 55 mg sodium, 24 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 17 g sugar, 5 g protein.
For those who want to consume smoothies with bananas, or other high PPO activity fruits and vegetables such as beet greens, the suggestion is to not combine them with flavanol-rich fruits such as berries, grapes and cocoa.
And not only is frozen fruit more convenient (and often cheaper) than fresh fruit, they make for a better smoothie too. Frozen fruit blends into a rich and creamy texture while smoothies with only fresh fruit can be watery and runny (more on that later).
Here are some to try: Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries ― fresh or frozen ― are packed with vitamins and fiber, and add appealing color and flavor. Bananas contain potassium and a fiber called inulin that helps you feel full and satisfied.
Blending certain ingredients in smoothies can affect the abortion of nutrients by the body. For example, a banana and blueberry smoothie may be a bad combination. According to a new study, adding a banana to fruit smoothies can decrease the level of flavanols in the smoothie as well as its absorption in the body.
Free sugars include any added sugars (including honey and maple syrup) and are the kind we should all be cutting down on to protect our teeth as well as lower our energy intake to help maintain a healthy weight.
All fruit, fruit juices and smoothies contain a naturally occurring sugar called fructose. Fructose from whole fruit doesn't add to your intake of free (or added) sugar, but in fruit juice or a smoothie it does.
Free sugars may lead to dental decay, provide excess calories and cause a rapid rise in blood sugar levels. For these reasons it's best to enjoy your smoothie with other food, ideally at mealtimes, and to limit the number of glasses you consume.
Once you find the right balance and taste, that smoothie can be a good thing. "It's really fine to have a smoothie every day. It can be a convenient meal replacement as long as you're making sure that it really is replacing the meal. Not too few calories, but not too many calories," says Fye.
Regularly consuming a strawberry banana smoothie can offer several health benefits. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants, vitamin C, and fiber, promoting heart health and immune function. Bananas provide potassium, aiding in blood pressure regulation and muscle function.
Ethylene-producing fruits, such as apples, bananas, peaches and honeydew melons, should not be stored next to avocados, lemons, grapes, onions and other fruits or vegetables that are sensitive to this compound.
If you refer to the diagram above, you'll see that blueberries also have a certain malty scent, which pairs well with cherries, almonds, apples, apricots, blackberries, bananas, lychees, avocados and elderflower.
The banana-milk combination is packed with a range of nutrients. Milk contains potassium, phosphorus, protein, vitamin B, and calcium. These components help strengthen bone health and manage nerve function, muscle contractions, and other key functions.
